Today the NeWP hosted a Youth Writing Festival at UN-K for high school students in western and central Nebraska.  Eighteen students attended from schools in Valentine, Ogallala, and Harrison.  These dedicated teenage writers got up early and drove a distance to write and share their writing with other students.  How wonderful to watch these kids write!  Writing is alive and well in schools whose teachers have been part of the Nebraska Writing Project.

  1. Hi Sharon!

I just wanted you to know you forgot Jenna and Ava from Aurora. (I just had to give you a bad time!) It has been so much fun today. I loved working with students in the writing marathon. They so impressed me!
